Terms of Service

Last updated · June 2026

These terms govern your access to and use of the expertOS website and service. By using expertOS you agree to them. If you are entering into these terms on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.

The service

expertOS provides AI-assisted research that cites its sources and connects companies with vetted experts for live calls or asynchronous questions. Features, availability, and limits may change as the product evolves.

Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity under your account. Keep your access credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorized use.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the service to solicit or share confidential, insider, or material non-public information.
  • Do not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service.
  • Do not infringe the rights of others or violate applicable law.

Experts

Experts set their own availability and approve each request before any call. Experts agree not to disclose confidential information of current or former employers and to comply with their own obligations. Payment terms for experts are described at the point of engagement.

Companies

Companies approve each question routed to an expert. Research output is provided to support your decisions; you are responsible for how you use it. Source tags indicate whether a claim is verified, inferred, or unknown.

Fees

Paid features are billed as described at purchase — for example prepaid credits drawn down per answer or per expert call. Taxes may apply. Specific commercial terms may be set out in an order form or separate agreement.

Intellectual property

expertOS and its software, design, and content are owned by us or our licensors. You retain rights to the content you submit; you grant us the rights needed to operate the service and deliver your results.

Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other’s confidential information and use it only to provide or use the service. Enterprise engagements may be placed under a separate NDA.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is.” Research and expert input are informational and do not constitute legal, financial, or investment advice. We do not warrant that output is error-free or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, expertOS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
