Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated as you use the service.

• Account and contact details: name, work email, company, and role.
• Expert profile data: résumé content, areas of expertise, and the recordings, transcripts, and summaries produced during an AI interview — with your consent and chosen reuse scope.
• Usage data: pages viewed, features used, and basic device/log data.
• Communications: messages you send us through forms, chat, or email.

How we use information

• To provide and operate the service — building expert profiles, matching questions to experts, and producing research.
• To communicate with you, including login codes, product updates you opt into, and support.
• To improve and secure the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and analytics

We use a single analytics cookie (Google Analytics) only after you accept it in our consent banner. Declining leaves analytics off; essential functionality does not depend on it.

How we share information

We share information with service providers (sub-processors) that help us run the platform — for example hosting, email delivery, and AI voice/processing. These providers act on our instructions under contract. We may also disclose information where required by law. Our current sub-processors are listed in our Data Processing Addendum.

Expert content and confidentiality

Experts control how their interview content may be reused via the consent options captured at recording time. Companies approve every question routed to an expert. The agent is designed to avoid soliciting confidential or material non-public information.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Experts can edit or delete their profile and interview data from the expert dashboard.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these, contact us at privacy@getexpertos.com.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring, and backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you of material incidents as required.

International transfers

We may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, additional notice.
