The trust model
Verified, Inferred, and Unknown — and why “I don’t know” matters.
Every answer is categorized by how certain the agent is. A calibrated “I can’t verify this” is treated as a feature, not a failure — it tells you exactly where to be careful.
What the labels mean
- A Verified claim always carries a resolvable citation.
- An Inferred claim shows what it was reasoned from.
- An Unknown becomes a precise question routed to an expert.
